This past weekend was a very special 50th birthday celebration for my dear friend Mark Ruskin.  The event was held at the magical home of our wonderful friends Maggie Rauen and. Paul Ehrlich. Their space was literally transformed several days before, and then finished the day of the party!

Whether I am working on my art, listening to music, planting my succulent garden or trying new recipes in the kitchen, I feel my soul being fed, my spirit filled up, and time disappears. Sharing any or all of these things gives me such pleasure and is a gift to myself. Giving is receiving.

Mandala comes from the Sanskrit meaning circle.  It represents unity, balance and harmony.  Working on a Mandala is a form of meditation for me and allows my creative mind to come out and play!
